The Decision

As it stands now; I think I will set up house at this blog beginning in the Fall 2006 semester. That will give me time to finish up at the old place and take my summer vacation and start fresh with a new blogfolio and a new class/assignment to reflect upon.

Maybe by then I’ll also be able to come up with a way to drive some more traffic to my blog.

    Probably the best way to drive traffic to your site is to leave comments on other blogs you read as well as create links to blogs on your site. Once you have the links on your site click them daily or when you go to read the blogs you like. Most bloggers watch their stats religiously and if they see a new referrer are very likely to check it out. if they like it, they will bookmark it or add a link to their site as well.

    Thanks again “Geek”.

    After talking with a friend of mine who got me into blogging, I came to the same conclusion. Unfortunately, I’m pressed in so many areas of my life that I don’t budget much time for attracting traffic…which of course means that I’m not maximizing the potential of the medium.

    I’ll have to do better…and that begins with moving to this host and leaving the other one.
